Portrait Prices

Here you'll find the prices for the most popular sized commissions of cats, dogs, horses and people. Whilst it is not possible to list and provide prices for every possible combination of subject, size and media, virtually any subject or combination of subjects can be made into a portrait in either pencil, pastel or oils. If you have any particular request for a portrait, such as a dog with its owner, a horse with its rider or several children together, please contact the artist who will be happy to advise. Remember anything is possible!

Dog Portrait Prices

10" x 12" (245mm x 305mm) - Small dog only, full body or head portrait. Single animal.

(Bevelled card mounts are not available on the 10" x 12" portraits due to the small size.)

People Portrait Prices

A4 size (297mm x 210mm) - Head portrait only, full body at artist's discretion. Single subject.

Due to the enormous variations of subject such as skin tone, clothing, posture, etc, which greatly affect the work involved in producing a portrait, it is not possible to provide a quote without seeing the image in advance. Please contact the artist with the photograph and any other requirements for a specific quote.

Price Information

Prices listed are for portraits of single subjects and are supplied unframed. Portraits can be framed at an additional cost, please contact the artist for details, advice on framing and cost. Portraits are painted with a complimenting plain or patterned background (like a studio photographers backdrop) at the discretion of the artist or unless otherwise agreed in advance. Prices include simple modifications to the image in the photograph such as removing red eye or small obscuring objects.

Ordering, Deposit & Payment

All portraits require a 25% deposit on ordering. Full name, address and a contactable phone number is required. The artist will send photographs of the finished artwork for approval, upon which the remainder of the payment must be payed.

Completion Times

Pencil and Pastel portraits will be delivered within 4 weeks of ordering. Portraits in oils will take longer, usually around 7 weeks from ordering to delivery.

Delivery Information

All portraits are sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery at a cost of £15.

Satisfaction Guarantee

The artist strives for the same level of detail, realism and quality in all portraits and has yet to meet an unhappy customer! Photographs of your painting can be emailed to you at various stages of completion if you wish for approval or comments. If in the unlikely event you are unhappy with a detail of the portrait, the artist will first try to rectify the area of concern. If you are still not happy upon receipt of the painting, the full cost of the painting will be refunded to you via Paypal upon return of the painting. The money back guarantee applies to the first 30 days after the owners receipt of the painting during which any problems with the portrait must be reported to the artist.
